Dr. Andrew Coburn
CEO, Risilience
Andrew is CEO and a founder member of Risilience. He is responsible for the overall business success and direction of the company, and was the main architect behind the models and analytics that go into the Climate Risilience™ and Enterprise Risilience™ platforms.
Andrew has previously been one of the early-stage innovators of the catastrophe modelling industry for insurance, where he has created and brought numerous analytics products to market.
Andrew is one of the founder members of Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, where he maintains a position as Chief Scientist.

Tim Marshall
Broadcaster, Journalist and Author
After thirty years experience in broadcasting, Tim is well-placed to provide a sharp political commentary and analysis of global affairs.
A generalist who is able to join the dots between specialisms in a wide field, the former Diplomatic Editor and foreign correspondent for Sky News has a knack for boiling down big issues, such as geopolitics and international diplomacy, to broad-brush terms that audiences from different worlds can engage with.
As well as operating on the corporate circuit as a keynote speaker and conference facilitator, Tim has published several critically acclaimed books, including the 2015 New York Times best-seller ‘Prisoners of Geography: Ten Maps That Tell You Everything You Need to Know About Global Politics’.

Caroline Laurie
Vice President of Responsibility, Burberry
Caroline is Vice President of Responsibility at Burberry, leading the corporate responsibility agenda covering carbon and biodiversity, sustainable sourcing and materials, human rights and social impact, community and climate change.
Prior to this she was the Group Head of Sustainability at Kingfisher plc, where she led the sustainability strategy across the business, driving the delivery of sustainable wood and paper sourcing and reforestation projects such as the Harapan rainforest in Indonesia. Caroline is a CIMA qualified accountant and joined the Kingfisher team in 2005. Starting out as a buyer at B&Q she gained first-hand experience of ethical and sustainable sourcing for wood and paper products. Following a promotion to category manager she was instrumental in the decision to remove all gas patio heaters from sale across B&Q stores nationwide. She later went on to help customers reduce their home energy use through intelligent product developments and installed solutions.

Jo Paisley
President, GARP Risk Institute
Jo is President of the GARP Risk Institute (GRI), the thought leadership arm of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). Set up in early 2018, the Institute works across all risk disciplines, with Jo’s focus to date on climate-risk management and scenario analysis, stress testing, and operational resilience.
Her career began at the Bank of England where she worked in a variety of roles, across macroeconomics, statistics, supervision and risk. Her last role was as a Director of the Supervisory Risk Specialists Division within the Prudential Regulation Authority, where she was heavily involved in the design and execution of the UK’s first concurrent stress test in 2014. She left the bank in 2015 and joined HSBC as their Global Head of Stress Testing.
Jo has also worked as an independent stress-testing consultant, advising firms on how to get the most value out of stress testing.

Joerg Osterloh, CFA
Director- ERM, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners
Joerg leads the Enterprise Risk Management function at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, the world’s largest Coca-Cola bottler, based on revenue.
Prior to that, he worked in operational risk management at GE Capital's headquarters. He started his career as a consultant at Accenture focusing on risk management in the financial services space.

John Scott
Head of Sustainability Risk, Zurich Insurance Group
John is Head of Sustainability Risk for the Zurich Insurance Group. He leads the Group’s internal and external engagement on sustainability risk, focused on the way Zurich delivers its purpose and values.
For the last ten years, in his roles as CRO for Commercial Insurance and as Head of Sustainability Risk, John has increasingly focused on global risks, in particular climate change risk. His unique combination of previous roles and experiences in the oil & gas and chemicals industries, together with his involvement in many industry and Government organisations, has given him a deep understanding of the risks and opportunities that climate change presents to companies, governments and society at large.
John is on the Advisory Board to the World Economic Forum Global Risks Report, a member of the WEF Global Future Council on Frontier Risks, leads key areas of work for the UN-convened NZIA & NZAOA and in the UK is Deputy Chair of Climatewise.

Jane Ashton
Sustainability Director, easyJet
Jane is responsible for developing and implementing sustainability and ESG strategy across the easyJet airline and works alongside the easyJet holidays team on their sustainability activities. She joined easyJet early in 2020 from TUI, where she had been leading sustainability at the company for over 15 years.
Jane leads on easyJet’s sustainability strategic pillar, where we aspire to lead and challenge the aviation sector to net zero emissions, whilst positively impacting communities and our people. She manages the offset portfolio at easyJet, the only major European airline to compensate the CO2 emissions for its direct organisational carbon footprint, and works across the business to improve the sustainability impact of our operations. easyJet is one of just a handful of airlines worldwide to have recently signed the UN’s Race to Zero pledge, committing to set an interim carbon emissions reduction target for 2035 and to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
Jane is a trustee of the world’s first sustainable tourism charity, the Travel Foundation and a Board Member of the UN-backed Global Sustainable Tourism Council. She holds a BA(Hons) from Bristol University; a post-graduate diploma in Sustainable Business from Cambridge University Programme for Industry and was honoured to receive a Hon. Doctorate from Bedfordshire University in 2018 for services to tourism. She is a Fellow member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).

Lene Serpa
Director, Head of Corporate Sustainability & ESG, A.P. Moller - Maersk
Lene leads Maersk’s global efforts on sustainability and ESG strategy, reporting, governance, engagement and trendspotting. She has been with Maersk since 2011, having previously worked at Novo Nordisk, Mandag Morgen, and as an independent consultant in sustainability innovation and CSR.
Lene sits on corporate boards and is Chair of the Global Compact Network Denmark. She is an appointed member of an Expert Working Group, advising on the development of European sustainability reporting standards, and co-author of the new book: Squaring the Sustainability Circle.
She holds an M.Sc. in International Business Administration and Modern Languages from the Copenhagen Business School.

Andrew MacFarlane
Head of Climate, AXA XL
Andrew is Head of Climate at AXA XL. He is responsible for the global climate strategy at the company, which entails ensuring all climate-related efforts across all areas of the business; insurance and reinsurance, are aligned towards furthering AXA XL’s sustainability ambitions and AXA’s climate leadership. Before taking on the Head of Climate role, Andrew led the Pricing & Analytics actuarial team across the Global Markets area for AXA XL Reinsurance covering Property, Casualty and Specialty lines.
Andrew holds an Honors degree in Actuarial Science and Statistics from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Dr. Michelle Tuveson
President, Risilience Inc.
Michelle is Chief Client Officer at Risilience, where she oversees the client development and client services activities – managing relationships with existing customers and developing a pipeline of prospects.
Her research topics include risk culture and governance, corporate risk profiling, and the role of the Chief Risk Officer.
Michelle is one of the founder members of Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, where she maintains a position as Executive Director and chairs the Centre’s Advisory Board.

Nick Faull
Head of Climate & Sustainability Risk, Marsh
Nick is Head of Climate & Sustainability Risk at Marsh. In this role Nick helps to develop Marsh’s global sustainability and climate services, including risk modelling and management, to support clients as they transition towards net-zero carbon emissions.
Nick was previously Head of Strategic Risk Consulting at Marsh in the UK, as part of which he led the roll-out of Marsh’s climate proposition to clients. Prior to this, Nick spent nine years with Oliver Wyman, consulting to financial services firms on a range of risk-related issues.
Nick combines extensive consulting experience with a strong background in climate having completed a DPhil in climate change modelling at Oxford University.

Dr. Lulu Wang
Portfolio Strategist – Global Private Markets' Solutions, abrdn
Lulu leads the Research and Strategy function of the Global Private Markets Fund and private sleeve of Aberdeen Diversified Income and Growth Fund. Her focus is on the analysis of fundamental drivers of private markets and the application of economic forecasts, thematic ideas and market insights across the global private-market spectrum including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure and natural resources.
Lulu is also responsible for the production of the Private Markets House View and thought-leadership projects, working closely with Heads of asset classes and the abrdn Research Institute, providing a strategic and tactical asset allocation on the major asset classes between public and private markets globally. She is also a board member of the Global Private Markets Fund ICAV and sits on the Private Capital Investment Committee within the Private Markets strategies.
Lulu joined Standard Life Investments, now part of abrdn, in 2014 following the acquisition of Ignis Asset Management, where she managed the research function operating across the real estate business.
Lulu started her career with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) in 1999. She holds a first-class bachelor and a postgraduate degree in international banking and Finance, and a PhD in international real-estate portfolio diversification.

Rob Jarvis
Head of Innovation, Tokio Marine Kiln
Rob is Head of Innovation at Tokio Marine Kiln - which means helping the company to do the same things better, as well as to do new things. In particular, to use technology to solve our clients’ emerging problems.
Prior to this, Rob spent 15 years as a risk manager and an actuary, which meant trying to solve our own emerging problems. Unsurprisingly, climate and sustainability have featured heavily in both jobs.

Conor McMahon
Global Climate Delivery Manager, Nestlé
Conor is the Global Climate Delivery Manager at Nestlé, his day to day is all things net zero: greenhouse gas accounting and disclosure; climate strategy – risks & opportunities; climate project portfolio management; and external advocacy for clear rules and collective action.
Conor is also helping Nestlé to understand its role in tackling the biodiversity crisis through commitment & action (SBTN) and disclosure (TFND).

Dr. Scott Kelly
Chief Economist, Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies
Scott is the chief economist for the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment in New Zealand. He is an adjunct associate professor at the University of Technology and the executive director of Net Positive. He has authored over two-dozen academic publications and dozens of professional reports on energy, climate change and sustainable finance. He completed an MPhil and PhD at the University of Cambridge where he was also a Junior Research Fellow at Darwin College.
Scott was a member of the Centre for Risk Studies and continues to contribute as Chief Economist to guide key research at the Centre.

Thomas Harvey
VP Product, Risilience
Thomas is VP Product at Risilience and is responsible for the overall strategy and commercial success of the Risilience product suite. He also leads the data science and model development team. In this role Thomas defines the product strategy and roadmap and, working closely with the development teams, manages the end-to-end development lifecycle.
Prior to joining Risilience Thomas worked at Guidewire Software where he led the European Predictive Analytics and Risk Consulting team. Thomas spent seven years at Risk Management Solutions (RMS) in a variety of client-facing and product-management roles.

Peter Ulrich
Vice President, Risilience
Peter is a Vice President at Risilience and oversees collaboration with global consulting firms to bring our climate change risk models to their clients for the purpose of quantifying and managing climate risk and optimising net-zero plans.
Prior to joining Risilience, Peter worked for RMS for over 25 years quantifying catastrophe risk for the insurance industry and has a background in Finance and Accounting.

Andy Garraway
Climate Policy Analyst, Risilience
Andy is Climate Policy Analyst at Risilience, with a focus on the policy response to climate change and its impacts on transition risk.
Before joining Risilience, Andy was based in the Cabinet Office where he worked on the negotiation strategy for the UK’s Presidency of COP26. Prior to this, Andy worked in the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy on energy security and decarbonisation policy. Before entering the Civil Service, Andy worked in a range of environmental- and renewables- focussed roles.
Andy holds an MSc in Global Energy and Climate Policy from SOAS, University of London. He also holds a BA (Hons) in German and Dutch and an MA in Town and Regional Planning, both from the University of Sheffield.

Oliver Carpenter
Head of Environmental Analytics, Risilience
Oliver is the Head of Environmental Risk Analytics at Risilience, where he leads the research and model development practice related to climate change, sustainability, and natural capital risks.
He has been instrumental in developing Risilience’s science and quantitative models to assess financial risks to businesses from environmental risks. Oliver is passionate about empowering organisations with innovative analytics to address the double-materiality of environmental risk and support net zero business transformation.
Previously in his role at the Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies, Oliver’s research focused on quantifying the economic impacts of natural catastrophes and emerging risk scenario development for enterprise risk management.

Jennifer Copic
Head of Enterprise Analytics, Risilience
Jennifer is Head of Enterprise Analytics at Risilience, where she leads on model development for enterprise risks, with particular and active interest in cyber, liability, litigation and corporate governance. Within Risilience, Jennifer previously led first-generation enterprise-risk model development for 25 unique scenarios.
Prior to joining the Risilience team, Jennifer conducted research at the Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies on enterprise risk scenarios, with a focus on modelling cyber and liability risks.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Louisville and an MS in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan.

Professor Danny Ralph
Academic Director, Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies
Danny is Chairman and a founder member of Risilience. He is an authority on managing risk in business and has published widely in his capacity as professor of Operations Research at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, where he also founded the Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies for which he is Academic Director.
Danny’s interests in business risk include identification and management of systemic risk, risk aversion in investment, economic equilibria models and optimisation methods.

Tom Sabbatelli-Goodyer
Director of Client Solutions, Risilience
Tom leads the Client Solutions team, responsible for supporting clients as they use Risilience products and ensuring accurate climate and enterprise analytics. In this role he oversees all client service and support operations and implements initiatives to maximise efficiency and client satisfaction.
A passionate science communicator, his commentary has been featured in media, including television (BBC News, Sky News) and print (Financial Times, Wall Street Journal).

Nigel Brook
Partner, Clyde & Co LLP
Nigel is a partner at international law firm Clyde & Co, where he specialises in reinsurance. He is founder and co-lead of the firm's global Resilience and Climate Risk practice, and advises and presents on climate change and biodiversity issues including duties of care, liability and governance.

Lisa Stanton
Chief Revenue Officer, Risilience
Lisa is Chief Revenue Officer at Risilience, where she leads the firm's business expansion efforts globally.
Prior to joining Risilience, Lisa worked at Moodys Corporation's ESG, Climate and Sustainable Finance business unit as its global head of sales and customer success. She joined Moody's via its acquisition of climate-risk data and analytics firm Four Twenty Seven, where she also held the role of Chief Revenue Officer.
In her early career, Lisa worked in asset management, leading investment strategy and client teams at Barra, AXA Rosenberg, GMO, LLC, and BlackRock.
